Men's Ministry
The United Methodist Men (UMM) is a supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus, grow spiritually, and serve. This group sponsors various church activities throughout the year, such as, cook-outs, fishing trips, Easter breakfast, and various missions in the community.
The monthly breakfast is held the first Saturday of the month at 8:00 a.m. in room C1 in the Christian Life Center. Open to men of all ages. Park in rear parking lot. It’s a great way to meet others as we share a meal, fellowship, a time of devotion, and prayer.
Women's Ministry
The United Women of Faith (UWF) is a group of women who are dedicated to serving God through missions, both locally and globally. The general focus is on ministries with women, children, and youth, at home and around the world.
This group uses their creative skills to create crafts that help local and worldwide missions and is open to women age 13 and up. One of the first projects was handcrafted pillows distributed to cancer and heart surgery patients. It meets the third Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the S2. Contact: Joyce Martin
Open to women of all ages and meets the second Wednesday of the month at 11:15 a.m. in room C1. This group shares in a time of food, fellowship, study, and service. A variety of service options are offered by guest speakers each month. Bring a lunch dish to share and join the fun! Contact: Joyce Martin.
This is a book reading group meeting the second Thursday of the month at 2:00 p.m. The group reads and discusses an assortment of informational and educational books. They strive to provide items needed by local charitable organizations. Contact: Marsha Dunford.
