Outreach Ministries

Scheduled throughout the year
“The Lord your God will change your heart” Deuteronomy 30:6. From the Kairos Website: “During the initial Kairos weekend, Kairos volunteers serve as God’s instrument through which His love, grace and mercy are expressed to the participants/guests in a real and profound way. God begins changing hearts.”
Good Shepherd supports our Kairos ministry in many ways: through prayer, baking cookies and creation of paper placemats for the weekend. For more information on the program, visit their website: http://kpmifoundation.org. Contact: Bob Macemon and Mark Bye

“While they were talking and discussing, Jesus himself came near and walked with them.” Luke 24:15. From the Emmaus Website: “The Walk to Emmaus is an experience of Christian spritual renewal and formation that beings with a three-day short course in Christianity. It is an opportunity to meet Jesus Christ in a new way as God’s grace and love is revealed to you through other believers.”
Good Shepherd is proud of their strong Emmaus participation.
